Below is a text with the same story that is told from three different points of view. Read each version and do the following tasks.
1. I followed my son through the door of our house after a long day of work.
“Uh, Dad, we have a problem here,” said my son. As I came into the kitchen, I saw that everything that had been on the table was now on the floor! So much for relaxing after work! How did this even happen?
2. When the humans left for the day, I noticed the smell of peanut butter toast in the kitchen. Dogs can’t resist peanut butter. When we smell it, we just have to eat it! So I tugged the tablecloth to knock the toast off the table. Suddenly, the mail, books, and empty cups and plates all fell to the floor. Some cups and plates broke into very little pieces! I gobbled the toast and then hid under the bed.
3. I’m starting to think our house is haunted. When I came home with my dad today, it was like a ghost had thrown everything from the table onto the floor. I wonder if this has anything to do with the toast I left on the table this morning.
